Find Lost Windows Phone using ‘Find My Phone’
Find my Phone is a feature that is pre-installed in every Windows 8 phone. Here are requirements to locate and find you lost phone using ‘Find my phone’ feature:
A computer with an internet connection.
Airplane mode must have been turned off on your phone before it was lost or stolen.
Find my Phone feature must have been enabled on your phone before it was lost or stolen.
Sign into the Microsoft account associated with the phone.
Click on Find my Phone button.
Windows will try to locate your phone.
You will be provided with 3 options: Ring, Lock & Erase
Here is how to use Find my Phone to locate your phone.
Ring your phone
You can choose the option to ‘Ring Your Phone ‘ to ring your phone at full volume even if it was set to vibrate mode. This feature is really helpful if you have lost your phone in your house.
To ring your phone, simply press the ring link. Next you will be prompted to enter your phone number. Enter the phone number associated with the lost phone.
You should be able to locate the phone if you hear it ringing in your house or someone answers it.
It is not uncommon for the phone to be misplaced in your house or at your friend’s house by yourself or someone else who had access to the phone.
Lock your phone
You can use this option to lock your phone and prevent its misuse. Good thing about this option is that it works even if you did not set up a password to protect your phone.
If your phone doesn’t have a password already set on it, you will be prompted to make one. Once you set up a password the phone will be locked.
You can also enter a custom message with your contact information in case someone finds your phone. The message will be displayed on the lock screen.
Erase data on your Phone
This option wipes all the data on your phone. Erasing all data will set your phone to factory settings.
Do this only if you have really important information on your phone and you don’t want anyone to see it.
Once you click on erase, Windows will give you a warning and you can either say you want to erase all memory or say cancel if you have changed your mind.
Only One Software Can Find Locate Your Lost Or Stolen Mobile Phone, Did you lost or stolen your mobile phone yesterday ? There is only one software can find your phone immediately if your phone is stolen then you can track your mobile phone by just entering your mobile number and you can easily find through gps locator with this awesome software
You leave your phone in the bathroom during a night out or reach for it in your pocket while traveling, only to find it’s gone. Now don’t panic (yet), it’s just a phone and it is replaceable. But unfortunately, the data on your phone is not.
Only One Software Can Find Locate Your Lost Or Stolen Mobile Phone
There are a few precautions you can right now take to assure that your data is safe if your phone ever goes missing or gets stolen. First and foremost, always have a lock on your phone and make sure your app downloads are password protected. You should also regularly back-up your phone to assure you don’t lose any precious photos, contacts, or files. It might also be a good idea to have insurance on your phone, so you’re covered in case it gets stolen, lost, or damaged.
But if your phone does get stolen (heaven forbid), here are five things you can do to prevent any further problems or potentially get it back.
Make sure you turn on the tracking app on your phone. Android phones can use the Android Device Manager whereas iOS users have Find My iPhone. You can then access your phone’s security preferences using a computer. From there you can ping your phone so it makes a loud noise, displays a message (like another number to contact), locks the home screen with a new password, or even erases all its data—which should only be a last resort. Only One Software Can Find Locate Your Lost Or Stolen Mobile Phone
You can also track the phone’s location to see if it’s in an area you know or if it’s on the move, and you can try to go after it. These apps do need to be activated ahead of time, so if you haven’t done so already, you may be out of luck.
Wipe your phone remotely
Only Software Can Find Locate Your Lost Or Stolen Mobile Phone Although it may be heartbreaking to delete recent photos or any process made in a mobile game, this step is important if you’re absolutely certain you won’t be getting your phone back. This is definitely a last resort, but if someone’s able to crack your phone, you don’t want to give them any chances to steal your data. This is especially true if you have any personal information, credit cards, important files, or sensitive work data on your device. You’ll be able to remotely wipe your phone using the tracking apps mentioned earlier, as long as you activated them, or you may be able to complete this task with the help of your wireless carrier.
Every wireless carrier should have a service to contact them if your phone has been lost or stolen. (Here are links for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon’s support pages.) From these pages (and a possible phone call) you may be able to find additional ways to track your phone or at least learn how to start getting a replacement. When you contact your wireless provider, you should also suspend your service in order to avoid any unauthorized usage charges.

I’ve been overweight/obese most of my life and this not only worked but has helped me maintain the weight loss. The app has a massive database of foods. 7 Citymapper APP
Citymapper finds the most convenient way for you to reach your destination.
When it comes to transit apps, Citymapper is much more reliable and accurate than Google Maps, in my experience. This app factors in all possible travel options including subway, bus, rail, ferry, bike, and car sharing to show you the easiest — and quickest — way to get from point A to point B.
The app also updates in real time to give you accurate ETAs and alert you if, for example, a train will suddenly skip your stop.

Musi lets you stream music directly from YouTube, even when your phone is locked.
One of the most annoying things about YouTube’s app is that you can’t listen to videos after you lock your phone or exit the app. Musi lets you do exactly that, so it’s perfect for streaming music you can’t find on Spotify or Apple Music,
10 Mint APP
Mint helps you stay on top of your bills and develop better spending habits.

I’ve only truly lost my phone one time. I was riding the subway in Manhattan and it slipped out of a shallow jacket pocket. As soon as I was off the train — and the doors had closed — I realized my blunder. I called the MTA immediately to report the phone, but I didn’t have much hope that it would survive a lonely trip on the train with thousands of people coming and going before an MTA official had a chance to scour the cars. Luckily, a good Samaritan snatched it up before any would-be-thieves could get their paws on it, and it made it back to me in one piece. That’s not always the case, however, so here’s what you should do immediately after losing your smartphone.
9. Track your phone location
If you have lost your smartphone You can track down where did you loose it using our app you can track phone location and where every your phone is lost or stolen in the world u can find it Here
1. Call or Text Your Phone
The first thing you should do in the event that you’ve lost your phone is to call it from another phone. Perhaps you’ve merely misplaced it.
If you’ve indeed lost your phone, perhaps someone has picked it up and they’re trying to find the best way to get it back to you. Whenever I’ve discovered a lost phone, the first thing I do is call “mom” or “dad” listed in the contacts. But if the phone is locked and there’s no access to the contacts, the finder may be standing by waiting for you to give it a ring. And once the battery is dead, you’ll have a harder time getting a hold of anyone, so do this first.
2. Lock It Down
We all have important and sensitive information on our phones. Hopefully, your device isn’t in the wrong hands, but to be sure nobody can access your private info, lock it down remotely. You can do this by logging into your Android Device Manager and Find My iPhone account on another device and manually lock the phone.
If you’ve called your phone and weren’t able to get someone on the other line, try locating it via your phone GPS locating service. It’s important to note that this needs to be activated on your devices so you can access them from another machine — otherwise this step is moot. Android Device Manager and Find My iPhone will help you do this as well
4. Set Up a Lock-Screen Message
Once your phone is locked down, the only way back into it is with your password — and chances are, whoever has your phone doesn’t have that information. Set up a lock-screen message to let whoever has the phone know that you’re looking for it, along with a phone number or other contact information to get in touch with you.
5. Report Your Phone Lost or Stolen
If you think your phone has been stolen rather than lost, you should probably file a police report. It sounds like a lost cause, yes, but I know people who have done just that and their phones have miraculously made it back to them.
6. Protect Your Accounts
Your phone is locked by now, but it’s still not a bad idea to protect your accounts, just in case. According to Gizmodo, you should log out of your social media and email accounts, until you get the situation under control. (See also: 6 Surprising Ways Your Smartphone Can Keep You and Your Family Safe)
7. Suspend Your Service
If you suspect suspicious activity on your lost or stolen phone, it’s best to err on the side of caution and suspend your service.
The last thing you want to deal with after the fact are erroneous charges and data usage bills that will only compound this already stressful situation.
8. Wipe All Data From Your Phone
When worse comes to worst, it might be time to chalk up the experience to a loss and wipe the phone clean. I had a phone stolen once, did all the steps I listed above — I could even see where the phone was in Manhattan when I used the Find My iPhone feature (although I couldn’t hone in on it given that everybody lives in a massive apartment building) — but after a few weeks, I gave up. I already had a new phone, and the stolen phone was either dead or turned off, so I could no longer locate it. At that point, I erased it and moved on.
Have you lost a phone or had it stolen? How did you handle the situation? Let’s discuss in the comments below.
Can you take a selfie? Of course. Everybody can. But do you have what it takes to shoot a really good, flattering picture of yourself? That’s a trickier skill to master.
Being able to take good selfies can prove useful in various situations. Say you go traveling on your own and want to bring home something more than just pictures of landscapes. Self-portraits are also a good way of following your own progress, seeing the way your style and appearance changes over the years.
This may come as a surprise to you, but there’s actually some science behind taking good selfies. But science isn’t the solution to everything. So here are some practical selfie tips that you should try out next time you take a selfie using your phone.
1. Mind Your Composition
Like with any other type of picture, your selfie will turn out better if you learn how to compose a photograph. Instead of centering your face, use the rule of thirds to position yourself in the shot.
2 Use Direct Light For A Clearer Image
In the same video and in most selfie-taking tips lists you’ll find, almost all will explain that facing into a direct light source will make for the clearest selfie. It also will help remove unwanted shadows from your face.
Another way to achieve a better angle for your selfie is to shoot it from above. It’ll emphasize your eyes and make your face seem smaller. Be careful not to go too high so the photo doesn’t get distorted. Hold the camera just above eye level.
You can make your photo more artistic by taking a picture in a different way. Try taking a profile shot from the side or hiding a part (of half) of your face. You can also zoom in on your eyes, mouth, or cheek to empathize different parts of your face.
3. Use Your Surroundings
Whether you’re shooting in your bedroom or in a park, you should always try and make the best use of what’s around you.
Try and look for anything that could provide some framing for your photo. If you’re indoors, that could be the corner of a room, a doorway, or even your own arms. Try holding your smartphone with both hands instead of one, or place one of your hands on or under your chin. Anything to help frame the bottom of your photo.
When choosing your surroundings, make sure it’s not messy and doesn’t have any undesirable objects (or too many people) in the background.
4. Play With the Light
Making use of natural light is always the best option when shooting photos. If you’re inside, try taking selfies near a window. However, make sure to avoid direct sunlight, as it’s often not very flattering.
If you have to use light that isn’t natural, try and avoid using overhead lighting. Switch overhead lights off and instead use lamps for a better light effect.
Selfie Tips for Shooting With a DSLR
Contrary to popular belief, shooting self-portraits with your DSLR isn’t any stranger than taking selfies with your smartphone camera. A lot of advice mentioned above still applies, but due to the use of different equipment, you’ll have to keep a few extra things in mind.
5. Pay Attention to Framing
We covered this already, but when using your DSLR and a tripod to take your pictures you have more freedom and possibility to take full advantage of what’s around you. Use the natural lines that you can find, like corners, doorways, walls, stairs, trees, bushes, and even horizon line to help you frame your selfie.
6. Position Your Head At An Angle
Most of us will do this naturally (at least I do) but Seventeen suggests that this trick highlights your cheekbones and makes your eyes look bigger. In W’s ‘How to take a Selfie like a Supermodel’ video, the models agreed with this tip, saying that an angled head makes your chin/jawline more prominent.
7. Use Both Auto and Manual Focus
Before you place yourself in the picture, focus on your stand-in object using auto-focus. With the object still in focus, switch your lens to manual mode. This will give you the freedom to tweak and change some settings while maintaining your point of focus. Don’t forget to mark your point of focus and stand in exactly the right place when you take a photo.
8. Make Timer Mode and Burst Mode Your Best Friends
If you don’t have a remote for your camera, you’ll have to use timer—a very handy tool when it comes to taking pictures of yourself. Set your timer for long enough to ensure you’ve got enough time to get in position and figure out what you’re doing in the shot.
Chances are, you won’t get your desired picture at first. Thankfully, your camera should have a continuous shooting mode (or burst mode) that should become your other best friend. Even if all you need is one photo, it’s a good idea to snap multiple photos so that you’ve got a range to choose from.
Yes, there was a time when people were hating on selfies and the people who took them. But really, no one should be telling you what kind of pictures you should and shouldn’t take.
Self-portraits have proven to be a fun way to capture moments of your life, as long as you don’t over share them to the point of annoying friends and family.
So what are you waiting for? Get our your DSLR or smartphone and make use of our selfie tips, and you too could get that selfie to go viral.
If you lost and forget your mobile phone somewhere and cant find it then try this 4 Tips Tutorial to Find a Lost Cell Phone And Track Live Location Of Your Mobile Phone
Step: 1 Finding Any Type of Mobile Phone
Call your phone. The easiest way to find a cell phone is to call your phone number from another phone. You can do this to find any cell phone, regardless of whether it’s a smart phone. Just ask someone you know to call your number, or use a free website service like wheresmycellphone.com or freecall.com to dial your number from a computer.
Step: 2 Have someone text your phone. A close second to calling your cell phone is having someone else text your phone.
If your phone is truly lost (as in lost at a public place, not misplaced around your apartment), you can text your contact info to your phone so that anyone who finds the phone will know your identity and how to reach you.
If you can’t find anyone to text your phone you can use a free website service like txt2day.com. You can also try texting a reward offer to your phone. This may convince someone who finds your cell phone to contact you and arrange a meeting
Step: 3 Retrace your steps.
Retracing your steps can help you find any lost or misplaced item, not just cell phones. However, if you had your phone at an earlier location and have realized that you left your cell phone somewhere, retracing your steps can help you locate your mobile phone (as long as it hasn’t been taken)
Whatever you do, don’t panic. Panicking will only worsen your situation, and might make it difficult to concentrate or think clearly Sit down for a moment and think about where you’ve been and what you’ve done. Consider when and where you last remember having or using your phone, and work your way forward from there. If you frequented any restaurants or stores before you lost your phone, try asking an employee if anyone found/returned a lost phone. If the phone was left with an employee, you should be able to simply give a description of your phone, or tell the employee your phone number so he can call it and verify that it’s your phone.
Step: 4 Contact your service provider.
Some cell phone service providers have GPS location services available to customers. Even if your provider does not offer such an option, they can at least cut off service to your phone.
Find your provider’s customer service number online, or look up your provider’s local offices in a phone book.
